- When measuring, be sure that you do not have the tape too tight or too loose
- ALWAYS double check the measurements before ordering
- If you don't have a tape measure, use a piece of string to measure the child. Then, simply measure that string with a yardstick or ruler.
- Always measure the child while he or she is standing up straight.
If you cannot measure her now, and need to order right away, take a dress that fits and lay it on a flat surface. Measure the garment at the points described in this video, and call our Customer Service line to go over the sizing.
Be sure to write down each measurement before taking the next measurement.
1) Measure around her chest at the bust line.
2) Measure around her natural waist — that is just above her hip bones.
3) The final measurement is the Shoulder to Ankle. Measure from this point on her shoulder to her ankle.
